Winslow, the director of Bon Appetit, has decided to make it her life mission to help the USF community become as eco-friendly as possible.

Monday afternoon around 4 many students received jarring alerts in the form of text messages sent from USF's Department of Public Safety to their personal cell phones. The messages informed students that the campus was in a state of emergency and they should evacuate immediately.

After traveling to Lima, Peru with the University Ministry’s Arrupe Immersion Program in the spring of 2008, and witnessing firsthand the struggles that street children face, senior Hannah Mora has singlehandedly organized her own drive to donate funds to an emergency shelter built to house rescued victims, an international project created by the Not For Sale Campaign.

On Friday night, aspiring poets and musicians gathered in Hayes-Healy's formal lounge for the Ignatian Literary Magazine’s first open mic night. The annual magazine is a compilation of student submissions including poetry, short stories, artwork and photography.
