SF Comedy Festival Returns with Big Name Acts

The biggest, star-studded comedy festival is back in the Best City Ever and this year, big names in the industry are bringing on the laughs. SF Sketchfest, founded in 2001, brings in many notable acts to the city for a festival showcasing different comedy shows, workshops, and improv.

From Jan. 23 to Feb. 9, SF Sketchfest is back for its 13th year and is hosting events in venues all over the city. With multiple gigs happening daily, this festival is not only highly anticipated within the city but it is also known for its great turnout and presenters within the comedy world. Some famous attendees and presenters of the festival this year are Jon Heder “Napolean Dynamite”), Tenacious D, Key & Peele, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Kevin McDonald (“That ’70s Show), Zach Galifianakis (“The Hangover”), Allison Brie (“Community”), just to name a few.

Tickets range from $10 to even $300, and are selling quickly on their website. There are plenty of opportunities to laugh out loud or even take an improv class from some of the most well-known comedians today.
