Men’s Basketball: Dickerson Scores 24, But Dons Eliminated by LSU

Despite grabbing a No. 4 seed in the NIT Tournament, USF was outmatched and eliminated in the first round, losing 71-63 to the Louisiana State University Tigers. With their early exit in the NIT, the Dons’ most successful season under head coach Rex Walters officially came to an end.

Men’s Tennis: Dons Get Past Gauchos, Stop Five-Game Slide

The Dons edged out host UC Santa Barbara 4-3 on Sunday, capping the win with a singles victory by sophomore Nils Skajaa. The lead switched hands a few times, with a key victory coming early from junior Bernardo Saraiva, who claimed the first singles finish and victory of the day in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0.

Men’s Golf: McElyea Finishes 24th, But Dons Struggle at The Goodwin

USF shot scores of 293, 291, and 296 for a total score of 880 at The Goodwin, which took place at Stanford Golf Course this past weekend, March 28-30. Out of 18 teams fielded at the tournament, the Dons finished 17th, making for a disappointing finish to the regular season. The Goodwin was the Dons’ last tournament before the upcoming West Coast Conference Championships.
